In 1988, Leita and Bill Hamill bought a yellow farmhouse on Church st. in Keene NY. Since then, they've been bringing carloads of friends and family up to enjoy the mountains, rivers, and maple syrup on blueberry pancakes during summer and winter vacations. In the archives are some good hair days of the 80s, evidence of Willy Hamill learning to ride his bike in the driveway, remembrance of painful hikes that ended with glorious views and sometimes a beer on the Ausable Club porch, dinners at the now-closed iconic Purdys, many of Jane's summer birthdays, and a lot of grilling. Sarah Hamill and Chris Lakey brought a whole new group of friends up to share the Ausable Club with during their unforgettably beautiful wedding in September of 2006. Soon after Jason started coming up with Jane each summer to escape New York City and enjoy the woods.
